Christina Del Carmine is a makeup-artist based in the Tri-state area. She has been a professional makeup-artist for over a decade. Her work includes bridal, beauty, fashion and editorial. She has always had a passion for the makeup and beauty industry for as long as she could remember. That passion evolved into her teaching herself how to apply makeup professionally. She started to practice on her family and friends. The more she did it, the more she came to realize that she wanted to pursue this as a career. She started off her journey by getting certified in NYC through Make-up Designory. She learned from the best in the industry, everything from skin tone matching, highlight and shadows, facial analysis, contouring, color theory, corrective make-up, and proper cosmetic hygiene. Christina is well versed in several brands as she worked for Ulta and Sephora as a lead makeup-artist totaling 4 years. She has extensive training in skincare and makeup, and was even certified by Sephora’s top artists. Christina also worked for Dior beauty at Lord & Taylor. She has worked NYC bridal fashion week in addition to collaborating with several professional photographers and models. Christina, having two of the best certifications in the industry, went on to solidify her career by being the lead makeup-artist at a 5-star salon and spa. This has resulted in six years of working with several brides and bridal parties. She uses only top quality, tried-and-true products from brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Mac, Nars, viseart, graftobian, Urban Decay, and Cinema Secrets.
Growing up, Christina always had an eye for beauty. It began with watching her mother apply her make-up in the morning. She always watched her with such curiosity-and that curiosity got the best of her! Her mother would always have lipstick in her purse and Christina would pull it out even while her mother was driving. She would apply the lipstick without a mirror by the time she was two years old! Apparently, she was able to apply this perfectly! This has evolved into not only a career, but also a true passion for art.
